What this site is
Bankstown Bathroom Renovations connects homeowners across Canterbury-Bankstown with a licensed builder. You send the details of your room, we arrange a measure, and you get a written quote from the business that would carry out the work.
We are not the builder ourselves. That is worth stating plainly, because plenty of sites in this industry are structured the same way and are considerably less direct about it.
The licensed builder
Renovation work arranged through this site is carried out in partnership with Coastal Renovation Group, a licensed NSW builder.
We provide the licence number and certificate of insurance on the discovery call, or whenever you ask. You can then confirm the licence in about thirty seconds on the NSW public register — it shows the holder, the class, the status, the expiry date and any disciplinary record.
We will always give you the number when you ask. A business that will not tell you its licence number is telling you something.
Why only wet areas
Bathrooms, ensuites, powder rooms and laundries are their own discipline. Small rooms that concentrate four trades, a waterproof membrane, a fall to a floor waste and a set of finishes judged at close range in good light.
The failure modes are specific and almost all of them are invisible until they are expensive. So the scope here stays narrow. If you need a kitchen, an extension or a whole-of-house renovation, we are the wrong first call.
What we ask
That plumbing and electrical work goes to separately licensed trades. That quotes are written, itemised and name the fittings rather than describing them. And that asbestos, where it is found, is referred to a separately licensed asbestos removalist rather than absorbed into a general scope — which in this area is not a hypothetical.
What we will not tell you
That this website holds a licence. That we have been doing this for twenty years. That we are award-winning. We will not show you reviews we did not receive or a star rating we have not earned.
This is a new site. Pretending otherwise would be the first dishonest thing on it, and it would be a poor basis for asking you to spend twenty-five thousand dollars.

From first call to hand-back
- Measure — half an hour at your place, no cost, evenings and weekends included.
- Survey where the age warrants it, before the price is finalised rather than after.
- Written quote — fittings named, tile allowance stated, variation method set out.
- Build — 15 to 20 working days, with the waterproofing cure time shown.
